The Exceptional Education Department at Young Middle School is committed to providing inclusive, student-centered support that empowers every learner to reach their fullest potential. Our team of dedicated educators, specialists, and support staff works collaboratively to ensure that students with diverse learning needs receive individualized instruction, accommodations, and services aligned with their unique strengths and goals. Through data-driven planning, evidence-based practices, and ongoing communication with families, we create an environment where students feel valued, capable, and confident in their academic and social development. We prioritize fostering independence, strengthening self-advocacy skills, and promoting meaningful access to the general curriculum.
